Quebec Business Immigration
The Quebec Business Immigration programs are for candidates with the innovative entrepreneurial, investor, or self-employed experience who want to settle down in the province of Quebec.
Applicants under this program must establish the fact that they can support themselves financially in the Province of Quebec. Capable applicants will receive a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec, or CSQ) and will then have to satisfy Government of Canada’s criteria before obtaining a permanent residence approval.
We have three varying business programs with their own criteria:
- Quebec Investor Program To get approval as an investor in Quebec, an individual must have a fixed net worth, managerial experience and should make a government investment for a time period of five years. This investment’s financing is available through Canadian financial institutions.
- Quebec Entrepreneur Program To be approved as an entrepreneur, it is must to have a fixed net worth, business project, deposit amount (start-up and security) and should be able to establish or derive a business in Quebec and participate effectively in a managerial role of business.
- Quebec Self-Employed Worker Program Finally, talking about a self-employed worker, it is essential to have a fixed net worth, have relevant work experience in the profession or trade that one desires to practice in Quebec and deposit a definite amount depending on the region where they would be working.
